92Y presents Young Writers Workshop: Poetry with Monica Sok

“Online Class for high school students, ages 15-18
Our poems have the power to reflect us. We may look into the mirror to see ourselves in plain sight. But what about windows that invite our own reflections inside another space?
The self, looking into a room. The self, staring outside at a whole landscape. The self, catching its reflection inside a car window while turning around the corner. Depending on where you stand, poetry invites the hidden self. In this class we will read and write poems that go inward. We will address ourselves and focus on the unknowns that may be buried inside of us.
Class meets Sundays: November 8 and 15.”
